What is Weekly Log?
Weekly Log is a minimalistic social media website designed for you to do journaling, creative writing, venting/screaming, ASCII art, gratefulness exercises, or whatever rich text-based content you see fit.
This website also serves to share your writings with friends and loved ones, and to find writing content that inspires you.
You can create one post per week. You may find it worthwhile to put care into what you post.
Additionally, nobody knows who you follow or what posts you react to, besides you and the other user. These stats are personal, so people view your logs free of outside influence and pre-judgement.
How to Use it
Homepage
This page is used for:
- Signing in (when signed out)
- Creating posts
- Viewing your feed
Create Post Page
This page is gives you a full screen view to focus on your writing. You are able to create one post per week. If you decide you want to edit your submitted post, you can delete it and reload the post as a draft. See FAQ for details.
Profile Pages
These pages are used to view your and other users' profiles. On your profile, you will also be able to see your followers/following, and edit profile information such as a profile picture and bio.
Search Pages
There are two search pages: Search Posts, and Search Users. You can search by keyword to find posts, and by username or display name to find users. In the coming time, these pages will be improved to allow for advanced searches, to help you find inspiring logs.
